Yesterday Samuel turned 3 weeks old. Let me take you through the day of a 3 week old: sleep, eat, change diaper, repeat. Rachel and I are getting quite good at changing diapers. Samuel is generally pretty good about sleeping during the night. He’ll sleep in 2-3 hour chunks to give his parents a little bit of segmented sleep. We’re not complaining though since we feel like this is pretty good. We’ve also started to try out cloth diapers on him. We’ve had some leakage issues, but with some advice from friends who have used cloth diapers, we are slowly getting better.

Love that picture! I’m so glad you guys are trying out the cloth diapers – you’ll have to keep us updated on how that goes so I know if I want to attempt it in the future! 🙂 Glad to hear all is going well – I can’t wait to meet Samuel in person!

What an adorable picture of Samuel! Uncle Dennis & Aunt Brenda read your birth story to Grandma I and she really enjoyed it. Next baby you may want to go to the hospital sooner. Our neighbors the Kroeger’s 2nd grandchild was born on the floor at home because Mom Jennifer didn’t leave for the hospital soon enough!!
