Easter at Jekyll

We were lucky enough this year to spend a week at Jekyll Island over Easter. The weather was fantastic – 80s and sunny every day! We were able to do so much while we were there – bike rides, putt putt golf, tennis, beach, sea turtle center, golf, lighthouse tour… It was a jam-packed week full of fun activities. The drive down to Jekyll was great – the kids were super excited and did a great job in the car. We made it there in 12 hours (having left at 5am). The first three days were definitely an adjustment for the kids – a few too many late bedtimes and early wake ups made for some rough moments those first few days… But we finally hit our stride and were able to enjoy ourselves overall! It was wonderful to spend time with family while we were there. The kids are at such a fun age for the beach – they really enjoyed digging and building in the sand, as well as jumping waves.
