Mama. Dada. Hat?

Samuel has been babbling a lot lately, with his two real words being “Mama” and “Dada.” This past Saturday we went to the zoo and I was wearing a hat all day. Samuel thought it was really funny that I was wearing a hat and kept laughing and pulling at it. So, I kept saying the word “hat” to him. Well, it stuck in his head and his third official word is hat! What’s extra odd/funny about this is that he has now decided to use “hat” for everything… books, cups, balls, boxes – they are all “hat” now! We did manage to get some video evidence of him saying “hat” – check it out below! 🙂

After all that high-pitched shrieking and screaming he was doing, I never would have expected such a baritone “hat” from Samuel.
